SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotary switches. Roll (12) for rotating movable contact (14) of a rotary switch, comprising first slot (34) going along diameter of roll (12) and open from top of roll for receiving movable contact (14) for contacting with stationary contact (11) of rotary switch (1), and second slot (36) arranged perpendicularly to first slot (34) for receiving teeth (37, 38) of an upper roll to be mounted together with roll. Switch comprises at least two rolls, teeth on lower part of top roll are arranged in slots of lower roll.

EFFECT: preventing twisting motion of contact.
