SUBSTANCE: stationary contact for a rotary switch comprises a connection portion for connecting to a conductor. Stationary contact comprises first portion (17) and second portion (18), which protrude from connection portion such they form substantially a letter Y and which first portion (17) and second portion (18) can both serve as a contact portion for connecting stationary contact to a rotary contact and as a support portion for supporting stationary contact (11) to switch body (2, 3, 4).
EFFECT: reduced probability of arc between poles of contact due to possibility of their location as far as possible from each other.
