SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measurement equipment and may serve for contactless automated control of irregularities of an inner vertical cylindrical surface, for instance, a missile pit. The video measurement device to monitor irregularities of an inner vertical cylindrical surface comprises a TV camera and a screen, fixed above the monitored surface, and a body moved inside this surface with sight marks, which are within the TV camera field of vision. At the same time in the device body there is a vertical hollow axis and a step motor and an angle sensor connected to it. Inside the hollow axis there is a laser range scope, on the hollow axis there is a rotated mirror fixed, and parallel to it, when it is in the initial angular position, there is a fixed mirror. Besides, when the rotated mirror is in the initial position, the beam of the laser range scope deviates in the horizontal direction to the fixed mirror, which deviates it in the vertical direction to the screen, and under other positions of the rotary mirror the beam of the laser range scope is directed in the horizontal plane to the monitored surface.
