SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of waste water using pneumatic flotation and may be used in treatment of industrial waste water produced during washing of oil and oil products storage facilities. Apparatus for purifying waste water from dissolved oil products contains vertical tank 1 with purified water drain branch pipes 2 and forced air supply in its lower part, air flow distributor in form of perforated horizontal pipe 8, oil product extraction unit 11 and flotation modifier 10. Oil product extraction unit 11 is arranged on outer side of vertical tank 1 and is made in form of tray attached to it along perimeter. Flotation modifier 10 is composed of coaxial cylindrical shells, connected to each other to form circular cavities of equal volumes. Height h of cylindrical shells generatrix is equal to 0.75 H of vertical tank height. Flotation modifier 10 central axial channel has diameter equal to 0.2 D of vertical tank diameter. On perforated horizontal tube 8 there is polymer material 9 with pores diameter of 0.005-0.1 mcm.

EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of cleaning water from dissolved oil products.
