FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of effluents and may be used for separating oil products therefrom. Proposed method comprises aeration in air at pressure higher than barometric pressure, flotation in fluid and removal of floated contaminants at barometric pressure. Oil-bearing effluents are aerated in aeration tank by compressed air jets to force effluents into nozzle adapter and, then, to spray in aeration tank air at pressure higher than barometric pressure to form effluents atomised spray directed upward. Aerated effluents are derived from aeration tank bottom and, via aerated water distributor, fed to flotation at barometric pressure.
EFFECT: better saturation of oil-bearing water and effluent with air to floatation at flotation treatment units, power savings.
