FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, specifically to methods for welding steels, and can be used in structures of pipelines with deformable state. Method of welding pipelines from steels involves determination of chemical composition of consumed filler wire and predetermined chemical composition of weld metal, welding of main pipeline metal using filler wire metal by arc welding in protective gas using energy supply in form of pulse oscillations. Weld metal contains, wt%: 0.02-0.12 carbon, 7.50-14.50 nickel, not more than 1.00 manganese, not more than 0.30 silicon, not more than 150 ppm oxygen, not more than 100 ppm sulphur, not more than 75 ppm phosphorus, balance - iron. Weld metal contains residual austenite and has a cellular structure with walls of cells and inner parts of cells, wherein walls of cells are harder than inner parts of cells.
EFFECT: high strength characteristics, resistance to plastic destruction and brittle fracture.
