FIELD: insulating materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to insulation materials for wires and cables, that is, to insulating materials for cable industry, which is a radiation-crosslinked composition. Radiation-cross linked composition contains alternating modified copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and ethylene of equimolar composition, triallyl isocyanurate, sebacic acid, heat stabiliser, magnesium oxide, modified fluoroelastomer and fluorocarbon oil in following ratio, wt%: alternating modified copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and ethylene - 89-96, triallyl isocyanurate - 1.5-3.5, sebacic acid - 0.7-2.7, heat stabiliser 0.2-1.0, magnesium oxide - 1.0-2.5 modified fluoroelastomer - 0.1-0.3 and fluorocarbon oil - 0.5-1.0. Ratio of modified fluoroelastomer and fluorocarbon oil ranges from 1:2 to 1:10.
EFFECT: radiation-cross linked composition has high processability and thermal resistance due to increased wettability of components and viscoelastic properties of composition, avoiding premature crosslinking during high temperature treatment composition and obtaining granules of radiation-crosslinked composition with a homogeneous even surface without inclusions and overlapping through uniform distribution of components in whole volume of composition.
