FIELD: polymer materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides fluorocarbon polymer comprising (i) repeating units originated from one or several perfluorinated ethers of general formula I: CF2=CFO-(CF2)m-[O(CF2)p]n-ORf 1, where Rf 1 represents perfluorinated C1-C4-alkyl group, m=1-4, n=0-6, and p=1-2; (ii) repeating units originated from vinylidene difluoride; and (iii) optionally sufficient number of crosslinking-active groups provided by one or several compounds of general formulas (1) CX2=CX(Z), where X is H or F and Z is Br, U, or Rf 2U, in which U is Br, I, or CN, and Rf 2 bivalent perfluorinated bridge group optionally containing O atoms; and (2) Y(CF2)qY, where Y is Be or I and q=1-6. Vitrification temperature of polymer is 50°C or below and oxygen-to-carbon ratio at least about 0.2. Invention also discloses polymer elastomer, an article, and a method for preparing polymer elastomer.
EFFECT: improved performance characteristics, in particular low-temperature flexibility.
