FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and can be used in construction of straight sections of underground main pipelines of various purposes. Method of laying underground main pipeline includes digging a trench, installation of a pipeline on mounting plates, placing it into trench and filling trench with soil. Prior to laying of pipeline, pipeline joints are sealed on both ends, pressure in pipeline is increased to excess, but less than operating pressure. Tail part of pipeline is shifted to side of trench, where it hangs under gravity, fixed by trench walls of transverse movement. During further displacement, self-laying of pipeline in trench takes place: tail part of pipeline is elastically lowered to trench bottom and at this moment a progressing wave is formed, which removes pipeline from mounting plates, and side component spatial bending shifts pipeline into trench. After filling of trench with soil pressure in pipeline is increased to test pressure.
EFFECT: technical result is faster construction.
