FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to servicing of vehicles. Independent wheel washing unit comprises washing platform with ramp installed on it, treatment plant, sand trap, washing gun, washing pumps with mechanical drive to feed cleaned water under pressure to washing gun. Trestle platform is installed movably relative to trestle base, resting on it by means of springs and is connected with washing pumps diaphragms rods. Waste water from sand trap is supplied into treatment plant by gravity. Pumps bases are rigidly fixed on trestle base and injection chambers are connected with manifold equipped with inlet and outlet valves. Purified water is pumped to manifold by washing pumps from treatment plant during movement of trestle platform upwards by springs. From manifold water is supplied under pressure of washing pumps to washing gun at trestle platform movement downwards under car weight.
