FIELD: railway transport; maintenance and repair of vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of preparing oil tank cars 1 for repair includes washing of tank inner surface, heating of outer surface of tank to 80-90oC and washing of outer surface to clean it from contamination in several steps at different pressure of delivery of washing solution jets at each step. At first step most contaminated parts of tank are washed and then train is moved and entire surface of tank is washed successively directing jets of washing solution first in direction of tank movement and then in opposite direction, and then finishing washing is carried out with changing of washing solution jets discharge pressure with subsequent drying and cleaning surfaces from paint. Cleaning of drained contaminated washing solutions is carried out by dividing them into fractions, collecting and removing separated oil products and sludge. Sludge is accumulated in expansion tank and directed together with oil products collected at each step of washing for homogenization which is carried out until finely dispersed homogeneous nonstratifying mixture is formed for use as fuel which is delivered into storage tanks for further use. Device for preparing oil tank cars for repair has containers 3 with washing solution, devices for carrying out internal and external washing of tank surfaces, chamber for heating outer tank surface and plant for cleaning drains of washing solution formed in process of internal and external washing of tanks, including separators 7, reservoirs 8 for collecting separated oil products furnished with heaters and branch pipes for removing oil products and pumps for transfer of oil products and cleaned washing solutions. Drain cleaning separator for cleaning drained compounds formed at external washing is furnished with oil and fat traps. Heat exchangers for heating washing solution are connected with washing head units for internal washing and nozzle units for external washing of tanks including fixed neck washing unit and lower unit made as separate units and upper and side washing units of tank surfaces directed to and opposite to direction of tank movement, and chambers for drying and cleaning tank surfaces from remnants of paint. Drain of used washing solution at external washing step is connected with sludge separation prechamber adjoining separator whose outlet and outlet of sludge separation prechamber are connected by common pipeline with inlet of expansion tank whose outlet and outlet of oil products collecting reservoir of drain cleaning plant to collect products formed in process of external washing are connected with inlet of vibrocavitation homogenizer equipped with oil pump whose outlets, through shutoff valves, are connected with pipelines delivering oil products from collector of separated oil products.
EFFECT: improved quality of washing, provision of complete cleaning of drains.
