FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to modified particles of colloidal silicon dioxide. Disclosed is a modified silicon dioxide particle covalently bonded to at least one polyalkyleneoxy-fragment, having at least 3 alkyleneoxy links and a terminal alkyl group. Also disclosed is a method of producing said particle, as well as a composition and an aqueous dispersion containing said particle for use as an emulsifier and dispersant.
EFFECT: technical result is disclosed particles can be obtained industrially and use thereof minimises impact on environment without deterioration of surface activity or emulsifying effect particles in dispersion.
