FIELD: packaging materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a production method and/or a pack of cigarettes in a production installation. Method comprises feeding and packaging in production unit (13) of packing units of lower level (15) in packing units (14). Packing unit (14) includes one or several packing units (15). Camera (20g) captures image of packages packing units (15). Camera (20f, 20m) captures image of packages associated with packaging units (15) of packing units (14). With captured images of packages associated with each other packing units (14) and (15) are associated with a common identifier. Said identifier is an intra-machine serial number of unit (13). Images are stored in a data store.
EFFECT: simplified and accelerated production and package of cigarettes and high efficiency of monitoring articles packed in various packing units.
