FIELD: aerodynamics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerodynamics and can be used mainly in shipbuilding, as propeller or as propeller in aircraft engineering. Rotor comprises hub and blades. Blades are made in form of thin flat elastic plates with streamlined outer edges. In blades there are through holes. Holes are made in form of through recesses on working sections of blades. Outlines of recess are parallel to edges of blades, in which it is made. On side of hub lengthwise edges of recess are smoothly conjugated, width ranges from 0.1 to 0.33 of blade width. Longitudinal edges of recess are hooped from blade plane, so that angle of attack of front edge of recess exceeds angle of attack, and angle of attack of rear edge of recess is less than angle of attack of blade.
EFFECT: reduced stress of structure, higher efficiency and reduced wear of screw.
