FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: aft extremity has shell plating terminating in stern frame, propulsor, mainly propeller in nozzle and rudder. Lower portion of aft extremity extending along axis of propulsor is made in form of central aft bulb with taper end portion located coaxially in nozzle at spaced relation. Outlet section of converging tube part of nozzle is located at distance of no less than 0.6 of diameter of propulsor from aft perpendicular; surface of propulsor hub is smoothly engageable with surface of end portion of aft bulb forming hydrodynamically streamlined body together with it. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 18 cl, 2 dwg
