FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to immunology, and can be used for differential diagnosis of primary and secondary immune response to rubella virus. Separation of types of immune response into primary and secondary is performed on basis of calculated using ROC analysis thresholds for IgG1 and IgG3 subclasses based on results of determining amount of specific antibodies. Sub-classes of IgG1 and IgG3 are determined by EIA. For threshold values IgG1 < 62.76 % and IgG3 > 18.63 % of total amount anti-rubella IgG antibodies, primary immune response is diagnosed. For threshold values IgG1 > 62.76 %, and IgG3 < 18.63 % of total amount anti-rubella IgG antibodies, secondary immune response is diagnosed.
EFFECT: using given method enables differential diagnosis of primary and secondary immune response on rubella viruses, enabling independent of method production of said immunity (vaccination or infection) clearly distinguish first or repeated contact of body with rubella virus, which corresponds detection among persons with unknown vaccination history of group primary patients of rubella.
