SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and can be used for preparation of a pharmaceutical composition for treatment of cancer. Method includes identification of oligopeptide sequence with matrix metalloproteinas, expressed in cancerous diseases, synthesis of oligopeptide sequence of said metalloproteinase and obtaining a pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of matrix metalloproteinase oligopeptide sequence. Oligopeptide sequence of matrix metalloproteinase is at least one of sequences SEQ ID NO: 2-4 and combinations thereof. Also disclosed are a method of treating a mammal suffering from cancer, a pharmaceutical composition for treating cancer, a method of preparation of a pharmaceutical peptide for treatment of cancer, and its use for preparation of a vaccine for initiation of an immune response against human matrix metalloproteinase-2 or human matrix metalloproteinase-9 in a mammal and use of a peptide for preparation of a vaccine for treatment of cancer.
