FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to physical and chemical analysis of materials, particularly, to establishment of dependence of surface tension of two-component spherical nanoparticles from own two-component matrix depending on the radius of nanoparticles and composition of matrix and nanoparticles. Method of determining surface tension of two-component nanoparticles in matrix, consists in the fact that the alloy containing nano-sized particles in equilibrium with the matrix, are subjected to quantitative analysis, determining composition of nanoparticles and matrix, as well as average radius of nanoparticles.
EFFECT: technical result consists in expansion of size range of small particles for determining surface tension in direct contact with the parent matrix up to the nanometer range (units and tens of nanometres).
