FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to articles from hard alloys hardening treatment. To achieve technical result working surface of tool or article from hard alloy is exposed to pulsed high-current electron beam with energy of 10-30 keV and pulse duration of irradiation 150-200 mqs and number of pulses 10-30, at pressure of plasma generating gases in working chamber of 0.02-0.03 Pa and energy density in electronic beam of 40-60 J/cm2, wherein as plasma generating gas for producing electron beam inert gases krypton or xenon are used.

EFFECT: longer service life of tools, parts of machines and mechanisms working under conditions of cutting, friction and abrasive wear.
