FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of special conductor alloys, particularly to production of low-alloyed copper alloys, and can be used in electrical engineering for making electrodes of welding machines, contact wires for electrified transport, collector buses and other products requiring high-conductivity of material. Method of processing of low alloyed copper alloy Cu-Cr system includes tempering of alloy, equal-channel angular pressing at room temperature and subsequent ageing, wherein tempering is made on alloy of Cu-Cr containing Hf, equal-channel angular pressing is performed at crossing channels at angle of 90 degrees on Bc route until true straining 7-11 is achieved, and ageing is carried out at temperature of 450-550 °C to obtain in alloy structure consisting of matrix, which is essentially pure ultra-fine copper, and nano-sized extractions of reinforcing phase.

EFFECT: high level of mechanical properties of low-alloyed copper alloys of Cu-Cr in combination with high electric conductivity.
