FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to methods of high-strength wires manufacturing from copper alloys, which, in particular, can be used as overhead system wires of high-speed railway transport. Method of manufacturing wire from copper alloy includes alloy melting, preliminary plastic deformation and drawing. Copper alloy containing 1.0 % of Cr and 0.15 % of Zr is melted in a melting unit, plastic deformation is performed by forging at temperature 900 °C to true deformation degree 1 and cooling obtained workpiece to room temperature at a rate of not less than 300 °C/s. Further, method includes rolling in gages at room temperature to true deformation degree 2.5, performing intermediate annealing at temperature 400 °C for 1 hour, after which drawing is carried out at room temperature to true deformation degree 1, followed by intermediate annealing at temperature 400 °C for 1 hour, final stage of drawing to true degree of deformation 1 and aging at temperature 450 °C for 1 hour.
EFFECT: as a result, a wire is obtained with the following characteristics: ultimate resistance to destruction of 570 MPa, relative elongation to destruction of 3_7 %, electrical resistance of 0_024 mcohm*m, which corresponds to the requirements of GOST R 55647-2018 for Br3 alloys, which are intended for wires of high-speed railway lines.
