SUBSTANCE: method comprises the steps of: receiving an up stream synchronization signal through an initializing digital subscriber line (DSL) during the phase of channel detection from a customer premises equipment (CPE), determining the corrected value of up stream symbols alignment based on the up stream synchronization signal, and transmitting the corrected value of up stream symbols alignment to a CPE. Value of up stream symbols alignment defines up stream symbols alignments for one or more up stream passes, and the corrected value of up stream symbols alignment is defined before receiving many up stream data signals within data symbols positions during the phase of channel detection.
EFFECT: up stream symbols alignment within a network component.
