FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: gas-water fire extinguishing system comprises network of main and distributing pipelines with installed sprinklers. Main and each of distributing pipelines consist of water and gas feeding pipelines. Gas is fed via pipeline from gas distribution station which includes compressed air cylinders and two reduction gears. One of reduction gears controls gas pressure in the main network, and the other is connected via pipeline with pneumatic tank cover to create water pressure in the main network, system start-up is ensured by automatic microprocessor-based station. Sprinkler comprises casing, which consists of two coaxial cylindrical sleeves of larger and smaller diameter. Casing is equipped with pressed auger inside which there is hole with screw thread connected with tube for supplying liquid under pressure. Formed bushing is placed inside the bushing of larger diameter through sealing gasket. Sealing gasket has throttling hole which serves as neck of Helmholtz resonator. In end part of the small diameter sleeve of the casing the diffuser is secured, at its end divider of the liquid flow is installed, it is made in form of the perforated ring coaxial with the diffuser.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of fire extinguishing due to introduction of sprinkler excluding turbulization of fire extinguishing mixture flow.
