FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: gas fire extinguishing system for containers with flammable and combustible liquids contains a control unit and a series-connected isothermal tank for liquid carbon dioxide with a carbon dioxide supply line and a shut-off device located outside the tank, switchgears and a distribution pipeline with sprayers. The shut-off device is above the level of liquid carbon dioxide in the tank. The intake of carbon dioxide is produced through a pipeline in the reservoir from the bottom of the latter. The atomizer is made in the form of a deluge head. Each of the deluge heads is made in the form of a choke with a channel and a divider fixed to the holders. The base of the sprinkler is connected to two arc shaped holders, that hold a bushing with the splitter fixed thereon, made in form of the diffuser with bent towards the base belt with petals, located along the generatrix of the belt cone surface. Inside the splitter, an additional sprayer is provided, which is in the form of a cup fixed by means of horizontally arranged, flat petals to the inner surface of the divider. The cup axis coincides with the axes of the through channel of the fitting and the bush, and its inner cavity is directed towards the bushing. Screw grooves are provided on the inner surface of the cup of the dispenser of the deluge heads.
