FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method can be used for synthesis of silver compounds. Silver nitrate is prepared with high purity by evaporating a silver nitrate solution, heating solution and adding salting-out agent - concentrated nitric acid - in volume ratio of silver nitrate solution: nitric acid of 1:0.5-0.7, salting-out agent is added to pre-evaporated saturated silver nitrate solution heated to (95 ± 5) °C, containing silver nitrate in an amount of 75-90 wt%, followed by crystallisation by cooling solution to a temperature ≤ 20 °C without stirring, followed by aging for 2 hours.
EFFECT: technical result is increased output of product to obtain highly pure silver nitrate.
