FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: described is a method of producing urea particles having equivalent diameter within the range of 50 nm to 700 nm, in a solvent medium, where said method includes at least the following steps: producing solution of at least one poly-isocyanate component in the first solvent; obtaining a solution of at least one polyamine component capable of reacting with isocyanate, in the second solvent; obtaining a solution of at least one monoamine, capable of reacting with isocyanate, optionally in the third solvent; mixing and interaction of said monoamine, optionally, dissolved in the said third solvent, with said poly-isocyanate, dissolved in said first solvent to obtain a poly-isocyanate, modified urea, dissolved in said first solvent and, optionally, in the said third solvent, and then mixing and reacting said poly-isocyanate, modified urea, dissolved in said first solvent and, optionally, in the said third solvent, with the above polyamine component dissolved in said second solvent.
EFFECT: particles under the present invention have high thermal stability as compared with particles which contain mainly urethane bonds, demonstrate higher melting temperature and higher glass transition temperature.
