FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: matrix inverter (MU) is connected to first and second multiphase AC network (N1, N2). First AC network (N1) connected to first inductive circuit elements (Su1, Sv1 Sw1), and second AC network (N2) is respectively connected to second inductance circuit elements (Su2, Sv2, Sw2). Switching matrix (MA) connects opposite first AC network (N1) ends (Eu1, Ev1, Ew1) of first inductive elements (Su1, Sv1 Sw1) with opposite second AC network (N2) with ends (Eu2, Ev2, Ew2) of second inductance circuit elements (Su2, Sv2, Sw2). Switching matrix (MA) consists of controlled inverter units (Uu1, Uv1, Uw1; Uu2, Uv2 Uw2). Control inputs of controlled inverter units (Uu1, Uv1, Uw1; Uu2, Uv2 Uw2) are connected to control apparatus (R), wherein control apparatus (R) is loaded with measured values of current and voltage of first and second AC network (N1, N2). In order to make said matrix inverter (MU) cheaply, in said matrix inverter (MU) between ends (Eu1, Ev1, Ew1) of first inductive circuit elements (Su1, Sv1, Sw1), opposite first AC network (N1), and ground potential (M) there is first inverter unit (Uu1, Uv1, Uw1), configured as a controllable AC voltage source, and between ends (Eu1, Ev1, Ew1) of first inductive circuit elements (Su1, Sv1, Sw1), opposite first AC network ( N1), and ends (Eu2, Ev2, Ew2) of second inductive circuit elements (Su2, Sv2, Sw2), opposite second AC network (N2), there is second inverter unit (Uu2, Uv2, Uw2), configured as a controlled AC voltage source; inverter units (Uu1, Uv1, Uw1; Uu2, Uv2, Uw2) by control device (R) are controlled such that electric power supplied to inverter matrix (MU) is equal to electrical power output from matrix inverter (MU). Invention also relates to a method for generating AC voltage using said matrix inverter (MU).
EFFECT: enabling connection of two networks with different parameters.
