FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to the sphere of electric engineering and may be used in an inverter for provision of frequency-scalable signal of the inverter, in particular with high output power. The inverter comprises control circuit (12) intended to control frequency of output signal of the inverter as per the preset value. According to the invention control circuit (12) is designed so that in order to generate signal with frequency preset for the inverter output signal shift in signal time is induced and signals are overlapped for the purpose of receipt of signal with frequency preset for the inverter output signal.
EFFECT: developed inverter with low costs for high voltage or high power values.
