METHOD OF MAKING SUPPOSITORY MASS IN AUTOMATED MIXING PLANT Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC B01F9/12 

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical processes and equipment, such as a mixing unit, and is intended for implementation of process of making suppository mass, including purification process. Method involves loading ground solid fat raw material in reactor for melting with volume of about 300 l with water heating and mixer and melting raw material in at least one reactor, pasteurisation. Powdered additive is introduced into base and homogenised mass in mixer-homogeniser with volume of 500 l with coaxial mixer, turbine for emulsification and thermostatic system, controlled through its own controller. Further, to obtained mixture is added a substance of interferon alpha-2b, which is pre-homogenised in a mixer with mixing device of frame type with cone bottom with volume of about 4 l at temperature 2-8 °C. Everything is mixed in a mixer volume of about 20 l, made with mixer of coaxial type and heating system with its jacket. Further, method includes transmitting obtained suppository mass for dosing into second mixer with mixing device, connected to dosing unit. During process, alpha-tocopherol acetate is added to fatty raw material.

EFFECT: invention increases output of preparation with interferon alpha-2b due to staged approach to processing of mass.
