SUBSTANCE: invention relates to displaying web pages. A computer-implemented method of displaying web pages, which includes: displaying a first page in the browser of an electronic device, wherein the first page contains at least one hyperlink; receiving an indication for selecting, by the user of the electronic device, at least one hyperlink on the first page which corresponds to a second web page containing at least one hyperlink; receiving an indication for selection, by the user of the electronic device, at least one hyperlink on the second web page; and simultaneously displaying in the browser the first web page, the second web page and a third web page corresponding to the selected hyperlink from the second page, wherein the second web page partially overlaps with the first web page, and the third web page partially overlaps with the second web page.
EFFECT: simultaneous presentation of consecutively selected and requested web pages.
