SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a wireless communication system, and in particular, discloses a method and apparatus for accessing a channel in a WLAN. Method of accessing a channel with from station (STA) in wireless communication system according to one version of present invention includes steps of receiving from access point (AP) a first frame including a traffic indicator map (TIM) and a restricted access window (RAW) parameter set component; RAW is determined, in which a STA is allowed access to channel, based on RAW parameter set component (RPS); and second frame on AP of certain RAW, wherein RAW includes at least one slot, RPS component includes at least one RAW allocation field, each of at least one RAW allocation fields includes a duration field RAW and duration field slot, and index of slot, which is recovered STA, can be determined based on association identifier (AID) of STA and number of slots in RAW.
EFFECT: technical result is faster access to channel and reduced power consumption.
