SUBSTANCE: method for implementing CCA (channel idle estimation) by the station (STA) in a wireless LAN system according to the embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: receiving a request primitive by the physical layer (PHY), including a parameter indicating a CCA level type, from the upper layer, and determining if a signal, greater than or equal to the prescribed CCA threshold, is detected based on the value of the said parameter. Herewith the parameter can be set to indicate one of a variety of different types of the CCA level.

EFFECT: delaying the transmission by determining, whether the wireless environment is busy or not, by applying the proper parameter.
