FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: berth for astronauts consists of two cylindrical movable elements equipped with drive. On each cylindrical movable element there are two beds, and their sides facing axis of rotation, are coated with soft material, for example, polyurethane foam, upholstered with fabric. Belts are attached to every bed, equipped with fasteners that allow performing fixation of astronaut's body. Surface of bed is made in form of cylinder, and cylindrical movable element is closed by cover. Movable elements are arranged coaxially, with covers in opposite directions, wherein rotation axis of first one is connected to rotor, and of second one to stator of electric motor.
EFFECT: exception of influence of operating astronaut's sleeping berth on spatial orientation of spacecraft.
