FIELD: transport; construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to intermediate separate attachment of rails. In intermediate separate rail fastening, including track pad with flanges and two terminals, on outer surface of flanges on entire width of track pad there are two semi-cylindrical cavities. In each cavity there is a cylinder with a protrusion under key. Terminal has a semi-cylindrical surface and keyway, dimensions of which are equal to corresponding dimensions of cavity of track pad and key protrusion of cylinder. In proposed design of track pad and terminals, functions of parts are separated. Semi-cylindrical cavity of rail pad receives pressure force of rail, providing angular turns of terminals and fixation thereof in transverse direction relative to rail. Key connection between terminal and cylinder secured in cavity of track pad, receives stress caused by changes in ambient temperature.

EFFECT: simplified fabrication of parts, higher reliability of fastening.
