SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a composition and use thereof for increasing the production or activity of catalase in an animal. Group of inventions consists of a composition for oral administration to animals in the form of a tablet, drink, medication or food composition containing vitamin D and one or more antioxidants and use of vitamin D for preparing a drug used for increasing the production or activity of catalase in an animal.
EFFECT: this group of inventions allows to increase the production or activity of catalase, increase expression of catalase genes in animals, promote an animal`s health and wellness, improve an animal's quality of life.
