FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a massive items from deformed aluminium alloy of 2xxx series. Article made from aluminium alloy produced by pressure moulding and having final thickness at least 25.4 mm, is made from aluminium alloy containing in wt%: from 3.00 to 3.80 Cu, from 0.05 to 0.35 Mg, from 0.975 to 1.385 Li, wherein -0.3×Mg-0.15Cu+1.65≤Li≤-0.3×Mg-0.15Cu+1.85, from 0.05 to 0.20 Zr, from 0.20 to 0.50 Zn, from 0.10 to 0.50 Mn, up to 0.12 Si, up to 0.15 Fe, up to 0.15 Ti, up to 0.05 any impurities, with total impurities not exceeding 0.15, aluminium - balance.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at achieving improved combination of strength and viscosity.
