FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in fuel feed systems of internal combustion engines (ICE). Disclosed is a system (1) for supplying pressurised fuel, in particular dimethyl ether or a blend thereof, to an ICE. Fuel system (1) comprising fuel pump (4), pumping mechanism (10, 11) of which is arranged partly in housing (16) containing lubricating oil, drain line (24) for draining fuel vapour from housing (16), line (22) for feeding lubricating oil from housing (16). System (1) includes a valve (31) supplying lubricating oil installed in line (22), sealing means (21) installed between pumping mechanism (10, 11) and housing (16) for preventing leakage of at least lubricating oil to outside from housing (16) and drain valve (30) fitted in drainage line (24). Valves (30) and (31) are controlled to be closed during an engine non-running state for preventing fuel vapour leakage from said housing (16).
EFFECT: technical result is preventing leakage of fuel and fuel vapour.
