FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to vertebrology. For measurement of rotation bodies in children with idiopathic scoliosis rotation angle is measured between two lines delivered by X-ray diagnosis on image of an apical vertebra, obtained on monitor of computer tomography. First line is made through a point on basis of spinous process apical vertebra and through front edge of body of an apical vertebra, maximum remote from point on basis of spinous process apical vertebra. Second line is perpendicular to horizontal plane of computer tomography table to intersection with first line.
EFFECT: method increases accuracy of determining rotation apical vertebra and vertebrae periapical zone of spine scoliotic deformation by taking into account spatial position of roots of vertebral arches and torsional deformation of bodies apical vertebra and vertebrae periapical zone.
