COMPACT MINE POLARISCOPE Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC G01L1/24

Abstract RU 2587101 C2

FIELD: geology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to underground, open and structural geo technologies and can be used for analysis of parameters of mechanical stresses in rock massif in support of mine workings, undergrounds and tunnels, as well as in bearing structures bridges and hydraulic structures. Polariscope includes an optical system, lighting circuit, a polariser, compensator and analszer. In order to reduce losses of light flux coaxial illumination circuit in unitary body is used. Light flux from lamps, directed parallel to axis of optical system, is fed into a polariser, reflected at normal from mirror sensor installed in blast hole, passes into compensator, which measures resultant path difference of polarised beams, and enters analyser, where interference pattern is recorded through a sighting telescope.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of losses and distortion of light flux, simpler and lighter design of device.
