FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, namely to surgical instruments, particularly to surgical cutting and suturing instruments. Surgical instrument comprises a handle assembly, and an elongated rod assembly. Elongated rod assembly is functionally connected to the handle assembly. Elongated rod assembly has a distal end to be connected to the terminal clamp into which the cassette with staples, comprising a plurality of unformed staples, and the bearing plate, which is movable from an open position where the cassette with staples and a staple forming surface of the thrust plate are spatially separated, in the forming mesh with staples. Distance passed by the thrust plate to come into contact with the staples in the cartridge with staples, depends on the actuation force which is applied thereto release systems situated at least partially in the elongated rod assembly and handle assembly and controllable by means of the trigger the trigger having a movable support on the handlebar assembly. Value of the actuation force applied to movable thrust plate, depends on the degree of pressing the trigger in the handle assembly. Elongated rod assembly includes an elongated central unit functionally attached to the handle assembly and protruding from it. Elongated central module has a distal end, which is detachably connected to the end clamp. Actuating system contains a working tube movably supported by the central element and interacting with the trigger in such a way that pressing the trigger makes the working tube move along the central element in the distal direction. Distal end of the working tube is designed for engagement with thrust plate so that the value of actuation force grows as the distal end of the working tube moves in the distal direction, engaged with thrust plate. Thrust plate has an inclined part. Value of actuation force increases while the distal end of the working tube moves in the distal direction, coming into compressive engagement with the inclined part of the thrust plate. Inclined part of the thrust plate has a proximal inclined surface and clamping section inclined surface which is oriented at a closure angle relative to the proximal inclined surface. As the distal end of the working tube comes into mesh with clamping inclined surface, support plate moves in closing position, in which tissue may be clamped between thrust plate and cassette with staples without formation of staples in the staple cassette. In the second version of the surgical instrument the inclined part of the thrust plate additionally includes the staple forming inclined surface located at a staple forming angle different from closure angle. When the distal end of the working tube comes into mesh with staple forming inclined surface, the staple forming part of the thrust plate comes in the forming contact with the staples in the cassette.
EFFECT: inventions provide optimum operational actuation force.
