FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of loading and unloading mold on molding machine for forming parts from foamed plastics. Method of loading mold in molding machine for forming of parts from foamed plastic and mold unloading from machine contains stationary frame with window for introduction of mold and placing on higher level from support surface of machine. Loading of mold into machine includes first stage, at which matching frame is installed and connected to mold, with help of which machine and mold are connected to form forming assembly comprising: mold and corresponding frame for connection, and several inlets for supply of plastic material for moulding and working fluid medium. Second stage, at which forming assembly movement to stationary frame is carried out. Third step, at which lifting of forming assembly to level of window carried out. Fourth step, at which forming assembly is loaded into working position to provide physical and functional connection with stationary frame about window and forming assembly is attached to stationary frame by means of first shut-off facilities. At that, second step comprises sub-steps, at which forming assembly is positioned in preset first fixed position on support plate and moved in position at which bogie wheels are arranged on both sides of platform, which is determined by horizontal support surface for bogie support plate. Third step consists in lifting of forming assembly located on bogie, and contains following sub-steps. Platform is lifted so that vertical flanges for connection of frame located in specified first position on bogie were matched with sliding with corresponding vertical guides of machine. Flanges are attached to appropriate guides with help of second shut-off devices at installation of forming assembly coaxially with window. And releasing forming assembly on guides by lowering platform and bogie for disconnection of bogie from forming assembly.

EFFECT: technical result is faster loading and unloading of molds, higher efficiency.
