FIELD: space.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering and can be used in objects recognition photographed from spacecraft (SC). Method of determining coordinates photographed from spacecraft ground objects involves recording object on photography and identification of specific object. At that, at least four specific objects are selected and identified on photography, arranged on one straight line, in-series fixed one of selected and identified objects and direction from it on photography and map on other selected objects and identifiable photographed object. Also fixed crossing directions from selected objects on identifiable photographed object on map and coordinates of photographed image object to be recognised as average value of coordinates of intersection on map fixed directions on identifiable photographed object.

EFFECT: technical result consists in prompt, reliable and accurate recognition of any photographed objects even with unknown orientation of capturing system.
