FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, particularly an electrical machine with improved cooling. Electrical machine comprises stator, rotor, housing enveloping stator and rotor, and hollow shaft, on which there is rotor (2). Radial fan is mounted rotationally fixed on hollow shaft on the ventilation side (B). Section of a fan blade of radial fan extends axially away from housing to a greater extent than hollow shaft. Guide element with radially extending plate is arranged in hollow shaft, wherein plate is arranged axially further away from housing than end side of hollow shaft on ventilation side (B). Inner coolant flow can thus be delivered from section of fan blade out of hollow shaft through a passage between end side of hollow shaft on ventilation side (B) and plate radially outwards.
EFFECT: technical result is improving cooling efficiency of rotor.
