SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, namely to surgical instruments, particularly to surgical cutting and suturing instruments. Surgical stapler comprises a handle with a trigger, a barrel extending from the handle, and the end clamp. End clamp extends out of the barrel and comprises the first branch, the second branch, the first cassette, the second cassette. First branch comprises the first part for the cassette connection. Second branch contains the second part for the cassette connection. One of the first and the second branches is designed with option of movement relative to the other of the first and the second branches. First cassette is inserted into the first branch. First cassette is to be connected to the first part for the cassette connection. First cassette comprises a lot of staples, and each staple comprises a base with legs. Second cassette is inserted into the second branch. Second cassette is to be connected to the second part for the cassette connection. Second cassette includes the retaining binding element including a lot of retaining holes made with possibility of engagement with legs staples. Retaining binding element is made with possibility of connection of the staple legs of the said multiple staples in the sutured tissue with unfolded staple legs. In the second version of the surgical stapling apparatus first cassette includes a plurality of binding elements, and the second cassette includes at least one matrix to be engaged with binding elements and holding each of the binding elements in controlled position relative to at least one matrix.
