SUBSTANCE: proposed technical solution relates to electrical engineering, particularly to power supply units, providing load protection against voltage increase at input due to availability of voltage limitation in them in form of analogue comparator and power transistor in negative chain. Distinguishing feature is introduction of decoupling diode installed in direct connection to positive circuit connecting corresponding outputs of full-wave rectifier and capacitive filter, and introduction of circuits provide hysteresis to reduce duration of transient processes at switching of pass transistor.

EFFECT: higher reliability at uneven change of input voltage.
