FIELD: test and measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to systems for controlling fluid flow. Fluid flow control device comprises a body having an inlet connection, an outlet connection, a discharge port and a booster module disposed within body. Booster module includes a control element and an actuator element having a noise-reducing trim element with a supply path extending between inlet connection and outlet connection and an exhaust path extending between outlet connection and discharge port. Noise-reducing trim element is coupled with and is immediately adjacent to discharge port such that noise-reducing trim element distributes fluid flow to discharge port via exhaust path into a plurality of fluid jets to substantially inhibit jet recombination at discharge port.
EFFECT: group of inventions is aimed at improving reliability and efficiency of fluid flow rate control device.
