FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to military equipment, namely to multiple box magazines with variable number of rows. Magazine comprises housing, feeder, feeder spring and spring cover. Housing is made box-shaped with variable cross-section with dividing partitions. Feeder consists of main and additional elements interconnected by spring. Transition from wide part of magazine housing to its narrow part is performed by variable-pitch helical surfaces. Magazine housing in each part has its own curvature in longitudinal section corresponding to "sheaf" passing along flow section of cartridges.
EFFECT: higher reliability of magazine, simplified design and reduced weight of magazine.
