FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Contour shape of the tread is formed by a single arc under conditions in which the degree of flattening is more than 55 % and less than 70 % and the inner pressure amounts to 5 %. Tread includes main longitudinal grooves including the main shoulder longitudinal grooves, and shoulder lateral grooves located in the shoulder region of contact with the ground. Shoulder lateral grooves extend at an angle of α 80 to 90° from the axially outer edge of the tread having contact with the ground to the axially inside of the tire, and the axially inner ends located within the shoulder region of contact with the ground. Axial distance Ds between the axially inner end of the shoulder and the main circumferential groove is 3.5 to 5.5 mm, the shoulder lateral groove has a deepest portion where the groove depth is greatest, and the depth of the deepest part is 70 to 90 % of the depth shoulder circumferential main grooves.
EFFECT: technical result - reduced wear in the shoulder region without deteriorating noise characteristics.
