SUBSTANCE: tire 1 includes tread 2 provided with outer shoulder main groove 3 in part closest to outer edge (To) of tread, and outer main groove 4 of crown on side of inner edge (Ti) of protector of outer main shoulder groove 3, both of said grooves passing continuously in longitudinal direction of tire, and external transverse grooves 9, connecting outer protector edge (To) and outer main groove 4 of crown so that between outer edge (To) of tread and outer shoulder main groove 3 there is formed outer shoulder area 7A of contact with soil, and between external shoulder main groove 3 and external main groove 4 of crown there is an external middle area 7B of contact with soil. Maximum width Ws of outer shoulder area 7A of contact with soil in tire axial direction is more than maximum width Wm of outer middle area 7B of contact with soil in tire axial direction.
EFFECT: technical result is improved operational characteristics of the tire during movement on the snow-covered coating and stability of driving.
