SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of clamping device of hand-held machine. Clamping device comprises at least one clamping unit (12a; 12b; 12c) for operating the tool holder (14a; 14b; 14c) on a spindle (16a; 16b; 16c) by clamping the working tool (14a; 14b; 14c) in the axial direction (28a; 28b; 28c) to the slip on flange (80a; 80c) and at least a safety assembly (18a; 18b; 18c) to prevent inadvertent separation of the clamping assembly (12a; 12b; 12c) and/or the working tool (14a; 14b; 14c) form the spindle (16a, 16b, 16c). Safety assembly (18a; 18b; 18c) has at least one motion changing unit (20a; 20b; 20c) for at least partial conversion in braking mode of the first relative motion between the at least two members of the clamping unit (12a; 12b; 12c) clamping elements (22a, 24a; 22b, 24b; 22c, 24c) representing a pivoting around axis (86a; 86c) of the spindle rotation, to the second relative movement, which is a movement in the axial direction (28a; 28b; 28c). First clamping element (22a; 22b; 22c) is mounted in the second clamping element (24a; 24b; 24c) adjustably in the circumferential direction (58; 58b; 58c) and axially (28a; 28b; 28c). Device is provided with at least one stop element (42a, 44a, 46a; 42b, 44b, 46b; 42c, 44c) for limiting at least one relative movement between the two clamping elements (22a, 24a; 22b, 24b; 22c, 24c).

EFFECT: technical result is improved reliability and safety of hand-held machine.
